in-person and livestream concerts

Vadim Gluzman, artistic director / Angela Yoffe, executive director

Dear friends, our new onstage/offstage series brings the magic of the annual summer festival to downtown Chicago during the 2O2O-21 season. Now that guidelines are permitting in-person concerts we are so pleased to welcome you back inside the concert hall. Each event is presented live-in-person in the lovely recital hall at PianoForte Chicago Chicago’s premier downtown piano destination – and will livestream to homes around the world at the same time, your choice!

Sit back and relax (you deserve it!) with some of today’s most acclaimed classical artists as they perform beautiful music and discuss their fascinating, complex lives both on stage and off. Candid and captivating, each installment of the series unfurls like a conversation between old friends and reveals insight into the life of classical artists living in modern times.

We have curated these concerts to treat you to a compelling mix of music: from chamber music masterpieces, and original music by Charlie Chaplin, to the world premiere of a NSCMF commission by celebrated composer Avner Dorman. Stunning performances, laughter, and audience participation come together to create very special evenings that are sure to lift your spirits.

in-person ticket: $70 / livestream ticket: $20
