Dear friends, our onstage/offstage series brings the magic of the annual summer festival to downtown Chicago during the 2022-23 season, complemented by online masterclasses that allow talented young musicians to be guided and encouraged by great artists of our day.
Now that guidelines are permitting in-person concerts we are so pleased to welcome you back inside the concert hall. Each event is presented live-in-person in the lovely recital hall at PianoForte Chicago Chicago’s premier downtown piano destination – and will livestream to homes around the world at the same time, your choice!

International Musical Bridges – Vienna
Chamber music workshop with pianist Evgeny Sinaiski and conversation with Dr. Andreas Mailath-Pokorny, Rector of the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna; Mag. Peter Koenigseder, Director of Studies at the Music and Arts University; Vadim Gluzman and Angela Yoffe, Founders and Directors of the North Shore Chamber Music Festival.
Professor of chamber music at the Music and Arts University in Vienna, Mr. Sinaiski also leads a duo class at the Folkwang Hochschule in Essen, Germany. He collaborates with many important musicians of our day in concerts and master-classes around the world. We are excited to welcome Professor Sinaiski to our Master’s Workshop series.
“Stars of Tomorrow” Benefit Concert
Presenting three brilliant new recipients of the Arkady Fomin Scholarship Fund: American violinist Fiona Khuong-Huu, Spanish pianist Raúl Canosa and another American young artist, cellist Bethany Bobbs. Joined by a former recipient, wonderful violinist Joshua Brown and Festival’s favorite clarinetist Ilya Shterenberg, and pianist Angela Yoffe. The young artists will bring their stunning virtuosity and deep musicality! AFSF 2022 Scholarships are kindly sponsored by BVLGARI Chicago.

One of the greatest musicians to grace world’s most important stages, legendary Spanish Pianist Joaquín Achúcarro is celebrating his 90th(!!!) birthday with an international recital tour. We are privileged to welcome Maestro Achúcarro, and celebrate the stunning artistry in his only Chicago recital!!!
