Renowned Music Director Daniel Raiskin and internationally acclaimed violinist and Concertmaster Igor Yuzefovich present a workshop for young artists on the art of preparing for orchestral auditions. Raiskin and Yosefovich, veterans of auditioning musicians for their orchestras, will provide critical feedback to two emerging young artists on the performance of selected excerpts, and give real world tips on how you can prepare for the best audition experience possible. The workshop will cover what conductors and concertmasters are listening for in your audition and how to mentally, and physically, prepare for auditions.
