Ruth Ten was born in St. Petersburg, Russia in the year 2000 and began her violin studies in 2008 at the Special Music School of the Rymsky Korsakov St. Petersburg State Conservatory with Larisa Baranova. Ruth has participated in master classes with such luminaries as Zakhar Bron, Tatiana Liberova, Thomas Furi, Anna Kandinskaya, Grigory Kalinovsky, Aleksandr Brusilovsky and Jan Repo.

Actively concertizing in Russia and abroad, Ruth is a laureate of numerous awards and prizes such as All Russian Violin Competition “Iskorki”, All Russian Competition “St. Petersburg Christmas Assembly of Arts”, International Competition for Young Musicians “Crescendo” in Geneva, Switzerland, and the International Competition “Window to Europe”
