2025 Arkady Fomin Scholarship Fund recipient

Born on August 29, 2014, into an American-Ukrainian family. She resides in Freiburg, Germany. Her instrument is a 3/4 violin by Michael Rüttiman, generously on loan from the Pflüger Foundation Freiburg.

Her musical journey commenced at the age of three and a half at the Oberlin Music School Freiburg. Recognizing her early talent, at the age of five, she was referred to the Pflüger Foundation Freiburg. There, her initial instruction was under the guidance of Ariane Mathäus, the then artistic director. Currently, as a recipient of a partial scholarship, she continues her musical education with Mara Zickgraf and Friederike Starkloff.

Ms. Dubow has achieved significant recognition, having been awarded several first prizes at the “Jugend musiziert” competition and the Peter Aab Music Prize from the Lions Club.
Her performance experience includes appearances at the Marschner Festival in Hinterzarten, Goch Stringtime Niederrhein, an Open Air Concert in Weil am Rhein, a Benefit Concert at the Konzerthaus Freiburg, a concert with the Freiburg University of Music, and numerous engagements hosted by the Pflüger Foundation.
